We have been sewing our fingers off at HQ with lovely personalised products recently, clients are enjoying choosing specific fabrics to suit their requirements which enables a truly special unique present.
We are thrilled to be included in this wonderful festive event in the beautiful village of Tilford, Surrey on Friday the 16th November, supporting Breast Cancer Now. There will be over 30 unique tempting stalls ensuring it will be successful fun evening starting from 7pm with a chance to get some Christmas shopping done with a yummy helpful glass of bubbles in hand…….
Do hope to see some of you then but if you cannot make it, my studio in Rowledge is open for private browsing. Last orders for bespoke Christmas presents is Monday 19th November.
Wishing all my clients a happy and joyous build-up to Christmas.
Flossie & Bumble HQ has been fairly quiet over the summer concentrating on the latest arrival to the family, 2 legged, not four!
But now Christmas is on the horizon we are getting lovely and busy and have designed new Festive Dachshund Notecards of two wire-haired sausages with little red noses and cosy scarfs surrounded by a jolly wreath of hydrangeas, thistles and berries.
Grey is also proving a popular colour choice this Autumn with a lot of private commissions for Home Wares. Our favourite is this country themed linen with smart hares on by Dunelm.
Our next Christmas fair is in the pretty country village of Crondall in Hampshire in their lovely village hall on Monday 6th 6.30 – 8.30pm and Tuesday 7th November 10-4pm.
So we finally took the plunge and have escaped London to the picturesque and quintessentially English countryside village of Crondall near the historic market town of Farnham.
We have a little river in the garden so get woken up by chatty quacking ducks in the morning, I pick fresh roses every day for the kitchen table and buy delicious homemade bread from the wonderful village shop. It’s all rather heavenly and we feel like we are in an episode of the Vicar of Dibley!
Obviously the first thing I did was to make some new country cushions for the day bed using gorgeous farm animal fabric.
The second thing I did was to make a (slightly wonky) wigwam so Wilf and Bumble have some shade in the garden by the apple tree.
And the third thing I did was to sign up for the Crondall Village Fete on Sunday 19th June and the Odiham Fete in Saturday 9th July. We hope to see you then!
We are feeling very festive here at Flossie and Bumble with Personalised Stockings commissions galore. Using vintage tweed and velvet, each one is unique. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to order, each costs £35.
Our handmade Advent Calendars and Wreaths have been well received too.
We are also busy making the final touches to our products for the Sprout Arts Christmas Market in South West London which opens Saturday 12th for 1 week. Come and browse our tempting stocking fillers and decorations.
We have had great fun with some Hot Paws and Trogg fabric, ‘When Harry Met Ted’. The two little cheeky dogs trot about on ivory linen causing mischief and the print was just too tempting not to use, especially as their scruffy hairstyles matched Bumbles! The Cushion is available to buy online and more products will be added soon.
We have also been very busy with Wedding Present commissions such as Doorstops with the date of the special day embriodered on the front. Using specific fabric to suit the newly married couple makes the present even more tailored and unique. The one below was made with some Harris Tweed commissioned by the Groom to match his family tartan.
There is a discount with 10% off our Dachshund Products in August when ordering through the wonderful website Devoted to Dachshunds http://www.devotedtodachshunds.co.uk
And for all bespoke commissions please do email me at email@example.com
Before we hibernate for the Autumn with our new little 2 legged addition to the family, who is arriving in October, we shall we be at the Bellevue Village Fair this Saturday 13th September, 10am – 6pm.
Located on a pretty road in Wandsworth by the common, it’s a lovely event now in it’s 3rd year with many fantastic stalls and family entertainment.
All stock must go so pop along for some wonderful bargains.
Bumble might even be persuaded to take part in the Mayhew Dog Show, if she doesn’t get too nervous……..!
