Background

I grew up in a house in the Wiltshire countryside where my mother made everything, from the cushions to the curtains, even the tailor made dog beds!

She encouraged me from a very early age to sew and to make things myself to ensure they were truly unique.

I have made home accessories for years but without a shop and demand getting higher, I decided to set up a website where people can buy items online or order a bespoke present.

A childhood name, Flossie, and a new four legged addition to the family called Bumble, a wire-haired miniature dachshund, was the inspiration for the company.

I have always had a passion for textiles and all things home made, so Flossie and Bumble was a natural progression of these skills coupled with a desire to make my own mark in the industry.
