I think ‘cottage industries’ are really growing with people choosing to buy handmade individual products from small companies instead of the mass produced items from high street shops.
The fact that so much time and effort is spent on each product really captivates clients who know they are buying something truly special.

I have always adored antique haberdashery too as it is so intricate and delicate, so vintage lace and little old buttons feature heavily in my designs.
